Temporary Road Closure Announced for Rue des Muguets on 13 December

The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that, as part of lifting works on Rue des Muguets in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, traffic will be redirected on Saturday 13 December 2025 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00.

According to the VdL, these works will require the road to be closed between Rue du Kiem and Sentier de Bricherhof for the duration of the works. Access will be limited to local residents and delivery vehicles.

In addition, the following changes will apply to public transport:

• Municipal bus line 12 will be diverted via Avenue John F. Kennedy. The stops Bleuets, Pâquerettes, Marguerites, Muguets and Labours (Quai 1) will not be served in either direction. Towards Kirchberg, two temporary stops will be set up on the service lane of Avenue John F. Kennedy: one opposite the Coque and the other opposite Rue Nicolaus Copernicus.

Diversions will be put in place and indicated by signage.
