On Tuesday 27 October 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced the temporary closure of a section of national cycle path PC 1 between Bridel and Juegdschlass due to renovation and concreting works.
According to the municipal authorities, the closure affects the section between the car park on Rue de Kopstal in Bridel and the Juegdschlass site.
The renovation and concreting works will be carried out by Luxembourg's Roads and Bridges Administration.
The affected cycle path and forest trails are currently expected to reopen from Friday 30 July 2027.
