The City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) has announced that Rue Cents will be closed to all traffic between Boulevard Charles Simonis (east side) and Allée du Carmel from Saturday 28 March to Monday 30 March 2026 as part of infrastructure works.

According to the VdL, the works will take place from 05:30 on Saturday until 05:00 on Monday, with appropriate signage and diversion routes put in place by the Traffic Department.

In addition, the following changes will apply to municipal bus services:

• Lines 7, 25, 29 and 14 will be diverted via Rue Auguste Trémont.

• In the direction of Cents-Waassertuerm, stops Trèves Q1 and Carmel Q1 will be suspended and replaced by temporary stops on Boulevard Charles Simonis (near the junction with Rue Cents and in front of numbers 233–235), as well as by a temporary Carmel Q1 stop.

• In the direction of Rue des Alouettes / the city centre, stop Carmel Q2 will be suspended and replaced by a temporary Carmel Q2 stop (lines 7, 25 and 29) and suspended for line 14.

The VdL noted that the works may be postponed in the event of adverse weather conditions.
