Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a drop in petrol, diesel and other fuel prices.
As of Saturday 30 May 2026, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 5.1 cents to €1.704 per litre and that of unleaded 98 octane petrol has fallen by 5.2 cents to €1.814 per litre (including VAT). The prices for diesel has reduced by 3.7 cents to €1.730 per litre (including VAT).
The cost of heating oil has also reduced by 4.0 cents to €1.116.
Prices for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use have reduced by 3.7 cents to €1.286 and €1.133 respectively.
LPG and propane prices remain stable at 75.0 and 76.7 cents per litre respectively.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
