Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of diesel, heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use, along with a decrease in the cost of 95 and 98 octane petrol.
As of Wednesday 15 July 2026, the price of diesel has risen by 4.5 cents to €1.743 per litre (including VAT), the cost of heating oil has risen by 4.7 cents to €1.236 per litre, and heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use have risen by 4.5 cents to €1.348 and €1.195 per litre respectively.
The price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 1.4 cents to €1.684 per litre, with unleaded 98 octane petrol dropping by 1.3 cents to €1.852 per litre (including VAT).
LPG and propane prices remain at 69.1 and 72.7 cents per litre respectively.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
