Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in the price of diesel, heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use. Other fuel prices remain stable.
As of Friday 7 August 2026, the price of diesel has reduced by 5.5 cents to €1.798 per litre (including VAT), the cost of heating oil has dropped by 5.5 cents to €1.289 per litre, and heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use have decreased by 5.5 cents to €1.403 and €1.250 per litre respectively.
Unleaded 98 octane petrol remains at €1.798 per litre (including VAT) and the price for Unleaded 95 octane remains at €1.619 per litre (including VAT).
LPG and propane prices are unchanged at 68.7 and 71.5 cents per litre respectively.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
