Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the prices of unleaded 95 octane, diesel, heating oil and heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use.

As of Saturday 15 August 2026, the price of unleaded 95 octane increases by 3.8 cents to €1.727 per litre (including VAT), the price of diesel will increase by 1.8 cents to €1.922 per litre (including VAT), the price of heating oil will increase by 1.6 cents to €1.415 per litre (including VAT) and the cost of diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural will rise by 1.8 cents to €1.527 and 1.374 per litre (including VAT).

Unleaded 98 octane petrol remains at €1.898 per litre (including VAT) and LPG and propane prices are unchanged at 68.7 and 71.5 cents per litre respectively.

Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
