The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced details of the traffic arrangements which will be implemented as part of the LëtzMile – Luxembourg City Road Mile race, which will take place on Saturday 12 September 2026.

The VdL said that on Saturday, traffic arrangements on Avenue de la Liberté in Luxembourg-Gare are necessary to ensure the smooth running of the sporting event.

Accordingly, Avenue de la Liberté, on the section between Boulevard de la Pétrusse and Rue Jean Origer, as well as Rue Goethe, Rue de la Grève, Rue Schiller, Rue Heine, Rue Dicks and Rue Sainte-Zithe will be closed to traffic from 12.00 to 19.00.

Martyrs car park will remain accessible on Saturday but disruptions to access to and exit from the car park may occur between 16.20 and 17.40. During this period, access to and exit from the car park will be via a passage point on Rue Sainte-Zithe, via Rue Michel Rodange, respectively towards the aforementioned street. Municipal bus and tram services will not be affected.

The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department has said appropriate signage will be put in place.
