The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that adjustments to its AVL bus network will come into effect on Sunday 13 September 2026, with the aim of improving the quality of the service.
From Monday to Friday, Line 20 services departing from Luxembourg-Merl, Marcel Cahen at 18:08 and 18:28 will be extended to Parc Luxite, while return services from Parc Luxite towards Merl will depart at 18:51 and 19:13.
During the morning rush hour, between 08:00 and 09:00, the timetables of Lines 10 and 29 will also undergo slight adjustments to better meet passengers' travel needs, said the VdL.
On Saturdays, the VdL will introduce minor timetable changes to Line 7 services towards Luxembourg-Kirchberg in the morning. Evening services between 19:00 and 20:00 will also see adjustments on Line 3 towards Henri Dunant and Line 23 towards Demy Schlechter.
The changes will also affect school transport. The VdL noted that it will adapt the schedules of certain services on school bus lines in the 70, 80 and 90 series following an analysis of journey times.
Full details and updated timetables will be available via the VdL's bus website and the cityapp. Printed timetable leaflets for all AVL lines are also available from the Infobus counter at Place d'Armes in Luxembourg-Ville (Cercle Cité building, corner of Rue Genistre), open Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00.
