The 24th edition of the "Nuit des Musées" (Museum Night) will take place in Luxembourg City on Saturday 11 October 2025.
From 17:00 to 01:00, the seven participating museums, Villa Vauban, Casino Luxembourg - Forum d’art contemporain, Lëtzebuerg City Museum, Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart, National Museum of Natural History (natur musée), Musée Dräi Eechelen and Mudam Luxembourg, will open their doors for a special evening programme.
Visitors will be able to discover both permanent and temporary exhibitions while also enjoying a variety of artistic performances, concerts, DJ sets, creative workshops and special guided tours. Everyone is free to organise their itinerary, combining cultural discoveries with food breaks.
This year, the museums’ joint project will take a humorous turn, with each venue presenting a performance ranging from stand-up comedy to comic choreography and clown art.
Free shuttles will connect the museums, although walking between sites remains an option.
Tickets are already on sale, with combined tickets available in presale at participating museums, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office and online at luxembourgticket.lu. Detailed information and full programmes are available at nuit-des-musees.lu.
The organisers noted that the 2025 edition has been awarded the "Green Events" label by the Luxembourg's Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity for its environmentally friendly organisation.
