The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure today announced that from 1 October 2015, the 'Flexpass' will allow public transport users holding an 'm Pass' from 'Verkéíersverbond' to combine a departure from a Belgian station along the border with an 'm Pass' for an annual SNCB subscription.
The 'Flexpass' will also enable Belgian commuters to benefit from an additional discount, subsidised by the Luxembourg State, on a journey made in Luxembourg.
The Luxembourg Government is currently in negotiations with the Belgian Government to lower prices for Luxembourg-Belgium travel.
