Luxembourg’s Ministry of State and Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Cooperation and Foreign Trade have announced that India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, will undertake a working visit to Luxembourg on Monday 6 January 2026.

According to the ministries, India’s Minister of External Affairs will meet Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden at the Hôtel Saint-Maximin for an expanded working session with their respective delegations.

The programme also includes a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Cooperation and Foreign Trade with Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, during which discussions will focus primarily on bilateral relations between Luxembourg and India, as well as on major current issues in international affairs.

The ministries also announced that Dr Jaishankar will hold a private audience with Grand Duke Guillaume at the Grand Ducal Palace.
