On Wednesday 17 September 2025, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that applications for school subsidies may now be submitted, as provided for by the municipal regulation of 7 May 2018.
Any pupil or student who has resided in Luxembourg City since at least 1 October 2024 and who is enrolled full-time in a post-primary educational institution (university, higher institute, classical secondary school, general secondary school, etc.) during the 2025/2026 academic year may apply for a school subsidy from the VdL.
Application forms, together with supporting documents, must be submitted by 31 October 2025 to the VdL Youth and Social Intervention Department (28 Place Guillaume II, L-2090).
