The Whisky Festival at La Belle Étoile, which started today Monday 9 November 2015, presented ample opportunity for Cactus to inaugurate its new whisky presentation concept.

At the Whisky Corner, the alcohol has been redesigned to provide better visibility to customers, with gins, rums, mix and cocktails, aperitifs and digestifs receiving an ergonomic makeover.

On the left hand side at the entrance to the wine shop, 150 types of whisky vie for the customer's attention, ranging from the best single malt Scotch, such as Dalwhinnie, Cragganmore, Singleton, Aberlour and Lagavulin, to the blended Label 5 Finest and Chivas Regal. The selection assembles whiskys from all over the world, including Jameson from Ireland; Nikka from Japan; Platte Valley from USA; and Goldlys from Belgium.

The area has been conceived as a form of open shop within the store, with LED lighting to highlight the cabinets on offer. Connoisseurs will be able to recognised the namey of the most famous historical Scotch whisky distilleries.

The Whisky Festival will also present visitors with an opportunity to explore these beverages and refine their knowledge of the world of whisky, with activities and tastings planned.
