Sources Rosport has announced that to mark Luxembourg’s National Day it has launched the fifth limited edition of its returnable glass bottles, featuring artwork from Luxembourgish illustrator Lisa Gardin.
Lisa Gardin is known for her colourful and uplifting visual style, her work inspired by manga and Japanese culture, and her bold use of pop colours.
Sources Rosport said the artist’s unique visual language convinced it to collaborate with her. “We were immediately captivated by Lisa’s unique world. Her fresh, modern and trendy style inspired us to step out of our comfort zone and reinterpret the National Day in a modern and trendy context,” explained Max Weber, director of Sources Rosport.
The result is three designs that blend Luxembourg’s national identity with Lisa Gardin’s distinctive style. Sources Rosport said the labels combine tradition with contemporary flair, a sense of local connection with creative openness – and tell the story of a successful dialogue between the artist and the brand.
“What appealed to us about Lisa was her ability to preserve her own artistic identity whilst creating something entirely new. She immersed herself in our brand’s world without losing her own personality. The result is fresh, surprising and unique,” added Max Weber.
The artwork will appear on a limited number of Rosport Classic, Rosport Blue and Rosport Viva bottles in 1L and 0.5L sizes.
Sources Rosport said that its annual art edition dedicated to the National Day demonstrated the brand’s commitment for the past five years to showcasing the diversity and creativity of Luxembourg’s art scene, with the limited-edition labels offering local artists an exceptional platform to present their work to a wide audience, whilst offering a fresh perspective on the National Day.
Lisa Gardin said: “I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard that Sources Rosport wanted to collaborate with me on this special limited edition, especially as art is very important to me and represents the ultimate form of expression.”
