Anne Waldbillig wins silver medal at BJJ World Championships in Abu Dhabi;

Aguilera Jiu-Jitsu – Luxembourg has reported that Luxembourgish Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) athlete Anne Waldbillig achieved silver medal status at the Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP) World Championship.
According to Aguilera Jiu-Jitsu – Luxembourg, the Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP) World Championship, which took place in Abu Dhabi from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 22 November 2025, is one of the most prestigious events in the international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) calendar.
Anne Waldbillig was the first and only competitor from Luxembourg to participate in the competition and finished second in the Women’s GI / Purple Belt / Master 1 / 70 kg category.
Aguilera Jiu-Jitsu – Luxembourg said that, since the start of her sporting career, Anne has consistently delivered remarkable results across various organisations and on multiple major international stages. Anne also plays a key role in the development of women’s Jiu-Jitsu in Luxembourg, regularly leading classes exclusively for women, providing a safe and motivating environment to encourage more female practitioners to join the sport.
