On Saturday 20 September 2025, Luxembourg’s National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights in Esch-sur-Alzette will offer free admission to its premises between the hours of 10:00 and 18:00.
As part of the “Life in Esch” (Liewen zu Esch) community event, the museum also invites people to come and join a creative workshop based around the subject of human rights. Together with the museum team, attendees will be invited to design and share their messages on human rights, with the results being displayed inside the museum.
The workshop runs from 13:00 to 17:00 and takes place in front of the museum on the Place de la Résistance. All materials will be provided by the museum. Participation is free of charge for both children and adults.
Moreover, at 15:00, the museum will offer a free guided tour (in English) where participants can learn what happened in Luxembourg during the Second World War. The duration of the tour is between 30 to 40 minutes.
