The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that on Friday 5 December 2025 at 19:00, the thirteenth edition of “MusiqCITE – Intercultural, Musical and Civic Encounters” will take place at Hall Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

The annual event, which celebrates interculturality, forms part of the awareness-raising programme run throughout the year by the VdL in the field of integration. Its aim is to encourage exchanges between people of different backgrounds, highlight diversity and emphasise the importance of an intercultural approach in daily life.

After the concerts, the public is invited to continue the evening at a “world-flavoured reception” provided by the VdL and to discover the artistic works of Maria Morais and Prasad Adhav.

Concert programme:

• Hembadoon & The Lady Force Band: a band led by a charismatic singer and composer, with sounds rooted in Afrobeats

• Jazz Break: a collective born of friendship and cultural diversity, bringing together enthusiasts to share the richness of jazz

• Areej Music: an original fusion of jazz and Indian classical music, performed with traditional instruments from the East

• Capoeira Team Luxembourg Asbl: the team introduces Afro-Brazilian culture through capoeira, maculelê and traditional rhythms

• Jakcar: a Dominican-born artist who energises audiences with the lively and festive urban style of dembow

• Carpatii Romanian Dance Group: a large ensemble of Romanian dancers who passionately celebrate the folk traditions of the Carpathians

• Grupo Pilon: a renowned Cape Verdean-origin band in Luxembourg, bringing audiences to life with energetic and festive funaná
