The City of Luxembourg (VdL) and the Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte Residence have announced they will host their summer celebration, “Summerfest”, from 14:00 to 20:00 on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Konviktsgaart in Luxembourg-Ville.
On this festive day open to all generations, the Konviktsgaart garden will be opened to the public as it is transformed into a lively and welcoming space where families, friends and neighbours can gather in a warm setting conducive to meeting, exchange and sharing.
The organisers have said a varied programme will structure the event throughout the afternoon. From 14:00, visitors will be able to enjoy a food village offering grilled dishes, desserts and creative drinks, alongside various children’s activities. From 16:00 to 19:00, the duo Lisa Mariotto & Rol Girres will provide musical entertainment, and fun activities such as football darts and “Hau den Lukas” will complement the agenda, inviting visitors to take on challenges in a relaxed summer atmosphere.
The organisers said: “Designed as a moment of discovery and conviviality, ‘Summerfest’ is aimed at a wide audience and invites everyone to enjoy the music, spend time with family or friends, or discover the warm atmosphere and surroundings of Konviktsgaart.”
Entry to the event is free and no registration is required.
