On Thursday 24 June 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that it will organise a public viewing at the Glacis Field during the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026, taking place from Saturday 4 to Sunday 19 July 2026.

All matches from the Round of 16 onwards with kick-off scheduled no later than 21:00 will be broadcast on a large screen:

Round of 16:

  • Saturday 4 July 2026 at 19:00;
  • Monday 6 July 2026 at 21:00;
  • Tuesday 7 July 2026 at 18:00.

Quarter-final:

  • Friday 10 July 2026 at 21:00.

Semi-finals:

  • Tuesday 14 July 2026 at 21:00;
  • Wednesday 15 July 2026 at 21:00.

Final:

  • Sunday 19 July 2026 at 21:00.

Entry to the public viewing area will be free of charge and without a ticket, with access control in place. The site will feature catering, drink stands and DJ entertainment.
