Cercle Cité in Luxembourg-Ville has announced Open Days on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, inviting members of the public to discover the history and architecture of the building through guided tours, workshops and performances.
The event will run from 12:00 to 18:00 on both days and admission will be free.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to explore the architectural history of Cercle Cité and learn more about the major historical milestones that have shaped the building. The programme will also feature an original dance performance by Luxembourgish choreographer Norah Noush, created especially for the occasion and exploring the relationship between the body and architecture. The performance, titled THREADS / The Invisible Thread, will take place at 17:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.
Guided tours of the Cercle Cité Bel-Étage will be offered on both days from 13:00 to 14:00 in Luxembourgish and German, from 14:30 to 15:30 in French and from 16:00 to 17:00 in English. Guided tours of the exhibition More than a Postcard. Le Luxembourg entre arrivée et départ will also take place at 15:00, in French on Saturday and in English on Sunday.
The weekend will also include a drop-in creative workshop open to all in French, English, Luxembourgish and Italian from 13:00 to 17:00 on both days. All activities are free of charge and require no prior registration.
