On Friday 20 February 2026, Luxair announced that heavy snowfall in Vienna had forced the cancellation of several flights between Luxembourg and the Austrian capital.
The airline cancelled three rotations on the Luxembourg – Vienna route:
Luxembourg – Vienna (LG8851 - LG8852);
Luxembourg – Vienna (LG8853 - LG8854);
Luxembourg – Vienna (LG8857 - LG8858).
Luxair said affected passengers had been informed accordingly and that its teams were assisting customers by offering rebooking solutions and appropriate support.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience and thanked passengers for their understanding, noting that adverse weather conditions may occasionally lead to disruptions despite efforts to maintain regular operations.
