The Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) is celebrating India's 79th Independence Day with the IAL Trophy 2025 cricket event on Friday 15 August, from 09:00 to 19:00, at Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange.
The IAL is inviting members of the public to a full day of six-a-side cricket and cultural celebration.
Four teams will play ten matches in a five-over format. There will be semi-finals and finals and a mixed match for inclusivity, as well as the playing of the Indian national anthem at noon, Indian food and refreshments by Kohinoor, plus an awards ceremony with special guests.
Everyone is welcome - families, friends and cricket lovers of all ages - to this free event celebrating freedom, unity and the spirit of India together.
