The Luxembourg Volleyball Federation (Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Volleyball - FLVB) has announced that a MEVZA Beach Tour beach volleyball tournament will take place from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August 2026 at Baggerweier in Remerschen.

According to the FLVB, the men's main draw will feature sixteen teams, including two pairs representing the Grand Duchy: Colin Hilbert / Steve Weber and Lucas Pernossi / Mathis Wolff. Before the main draw, sixteen teams will compete in the qualification tournament on Thursday for the remaining four places.

The main draw will begin on Friday, with the round of twelve and quarter-finals taking place on Saturday. The tournament will conclude on Sunday, when the semi-finals will start at 10:00, followed by the bronze medal match at 14:00 and the final.

The FLVB also noted that the 2026 edition marks the first time the MEVZA Beach Tour tournament is being organised at the iconic Remerschen Lakes Baggerweier venue. Admission is €6, with attendance limited to 3,000 spectators. Stand-up paddleboards and rowing boats will be available for hire, while visitors may bring drinks, snacks and barbecues (using four-legged grills only).
