Details:
The national competence centre for Supercomputing Luxembourg and Luxinnovation are organising SCynergy 2026, a European forum dedicated to high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing, at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 April 2026.
The event will bring together leading companies, researchers and policymakers to explore developments in advanced computing technologies and their applications across multiple sectors, including space, healthcare, finance, industry, cybersecurity, sustainability and startups.
SCynergy 2026 will place a particular focus on the Luxembourg AI Factory, which is expected to play a key role in driving AI adoption, while also highlighting progress in quantum technologies and fostering collaboration within the European HPC ecosystem.
The forum will feature a range of keynote speeches and discussions from prominent speakers. Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, Luc Frieden, is scheduled to deliver the opening address in the afternoon of the first day, focusing on national and European digital strategies.
Luxembourg’s Minister of Digitalisation and Minister of Research and Higher Education, Stéphanie Obertin, will open the second day of the event in the morning.
Among the featured speakers is Sébastien Bohler, a neuroscientist, author and editor-in-chief of Cerveau & Psycho, who will explore innovation from a psychological perspective.
The programme will also feature a series of keynote sessions addressing topics such as digital sovereignty, sustainable AI, financial supervision in the age of emerging technologies, and the role of space data in the energy transition. Speakers include representatives from industry, academia and public institutions, such as Jean-Pierre Faber, Director at the CSSF, Fanny Bouton, Co-founder of France Quantum, and Daniel Meyer, Country Manager at Fujitsu, among others.
