Details:
The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg (BCC) is co-organising the fifth edition of the Luxembourg International Business Summit (LIBS), titled "Finding opportunity in chaos: doing business in uncertain times", on Thursday 4 June 2026 at 18:30 at Spuerkeess (BCEE) in Luxembourg City.
The Brexit vote in 2016 kicked off a decade of chaos, marked by unprecedented political instability, societal division, the COVID-19 pandemic, war in Ukraine and Donald Trump in the White House (twice), the organisers noted. The ramifications on the global economy have been stark as reliable partnerships have become volatile marriages of convenience. Still, business must go on, the BCC added.
This upcoming panel discussion, moderated by Cordula Schnuer, will feature Marie-Christine Mariani, founder and CEO of MCM Steel, Christos Floros, founder and CEO of Monnett, Claude Hirtzig, SVP, Head of Department Retail & Professional Banking at Spuerkeess, and Tim Collins, Vice-President of Global Operations & Supply Chain at Blue Origin.
