The nineteenth edition of the CinEast Central and Eastern European Film Festival will take place from Friday 9 to Sunday 25 October 2026 under the theme “Crossroads”.
The programme will feature more than 120 screenings of over 65 feature films and 60 short films from across Central and Eastern Europe, with almost all films screened with English subtitles. The festival will also welcome more than 35 directors, actors and producers and feature six concerts, ciné-debates, exhibitions, children's screenings and national evenings with traditional food and drinks.
This year's programme will include a Focus on Bulgaria, a special Ukrainian programme and several tributes.
The complete programme is set to be unveiled at the festival's press conference at the end of September 2026.
