Details:

All Saints' Day falls on 1 November and is a public holiday in Luxembourg. It is a Christian holiday that celebrates all the saints who have attained heaven including those who have not been canonised. People traditionally visit cemeteries to honour their loved ones who have passed away, laying flowers and candles on their graves. Official religious ceremonies are common, with mass and the blessing of the graves, and families often have lunch and spend time together on this commemorative occasion. The following day (2 November) is All Souls’ Day (Allerséilen), another day of prayer and remembrance, although this is not a public holiday in Luxembourg.
