Details:
The CAPE - Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruckwill stage Lovefool, an English-language play by Gintare Parulyte exploring contemporary womanhood, on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 November 2025 at 20:00.
Synopsis: Lovefool is a one-woman play about Grace, a young woman hungry for affection and looking for love in the wrong places, who is forced to discover what healthy (self) love might look like. Gintare Parulyte explores with vulnerability and humour the effects of toxic masculinity and inequality, as well as those of life governed by gender expectations that are too confusing to fathom, let alone to enjoy.
A two-hour "Own Your Story" workshop will accompany the Lovefool show, inviting students aged fourteen to nineteen to explore the power of their own voice and experience. Accompanied by the play's author, they will discover creative tools for expressing what moves them most - from pain to joy - and for transforming their unique perspectives into powerful stories, according to the venue.
Tickets cost €21 for adults, €10.50 for youth or €1.50 with the Kulturpass.
