The first Luxembourg GRC Summit is taking place on Thursday 5 June 2025 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (Kirchberg); doors open at 09:00.
This event, centred around governance, risk and compliance (GRC), will explore the theme of "GRC Strategies for Emerging Risks in 2030 and Beyond".
The organisers, the National Cybersecurity Competence Center (NC3), noted that the event will "serve as a vital platform to advance discussions, foster innovation and build a thriving community of GRC professionals".
The upcoming conference will revolve around several key themes, including:
- emerging risks and governance: AI, PQC and the future CISO skills;
- opportunities and challenges for EU SMEs ahead of the CRA implementation;
- GRC and human rights;
- the future of regulatory compliance in a digital-first world;
- risk management strategies in evolving cyber, defence and space ecosystems, through civil and military perspectives;
- leveraging open-source tools for enhanced GRC effectiveness.

- Annita Larissa Sciacovelli, Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy) and Member of the Advisory Board of the EU Agency of Cybersecurity (ENISA);
- Ben Fetler, Head of Cyber at Luxembourg Directorate of Defence;
- Els Debuf, Head of ICRC Cyber Delegation/ Global Cyber Hub, International Committee of the Red Cross;
- Emmanuelle De Foy, First Embassy Counsellor International Governance (Global economy, Rule of law, Cyber, Space);
- Freddy Dezeure, Cybersecurity Expert;
- Georgios Stamatoukos, Project Officer Cyber Defence Research & Technology at European Defence Agency;
- Hervé Bah, Partner at CiberObsConsulting and Member of Cybersecurity Africa Forum;
- Luc Dockendorf, Ambassador for Cybersecurity and Digitalisation within Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade;
