The Maison du Grand-Duc has announced that the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg will pay a courtesy visit to the Netherlands on Wednesday 19 November 2025.

As part of a series of courtesy visits following the "Trounwiessel" (throne change) in Luxembourg, Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, accompanied by Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, will be received in The Hague on 19 November by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

The programme includes a meeting with the Dutch King and Queen at Huis ten Bosch Palace, followed by a meeting between Grand Duke Guillaume and Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, after which the Grand Duke will visit the States General to meet the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Representatives.
The visit will conclude with a luncheon bringing together the royal couples at Noordeinde Palace.

The upcoming courtesy visit follows recent visits to Brussels, Belgium on Friday 24 October and to Berlin, Germany on Monday 27 October 2025.
