The Maison du Grand-Duc has announced that the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg will pay a courtesy visit to France on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
As part of a series of courtesy visits following the "Trounwiessel" (change of reign) in Luxembourg, Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, accompanied by Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Xavier Bettel, will travel to Paris, where they will be officially received by French President Emmanuel Macron.
The visit to France will be the sixth courtesy visit undertaken by the Grand Ducal Couple since Grand Duke Guillaume's accession to the throne. It follows previous visits to Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the Holy See and Spain.
