The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on the evening of Thursday 17 July 2025, a robbery occurred in Howald, where a man reportedly stole a woman’s necklace.
According to the police, an immediate search was launched, during which they spotted three men near a vehicle.
Officers identified one of the men as the suspected thief and during a search of the suspect found the stolen necklace and cash in his possession.
Following an order from the public prosecutor, the suspect was placed under arrest.
During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered additional stolen items.
After undergoing medical checks, the police transferred the two other suspects to the detention centre.
