The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a driving licence was revoked on Tuesday 23 September 2025, after a rear-end collision in Hersberg.
On Tuesday afternoon police were notified of a traffic accident on the N11 in Hersberg. According to initial information, during an incident where one vehicle attempted to overtake another, a rear-end collision occurred. The overtaking vehicle initially stopped but fled the scene shortly afterwards.
A police patrol was able to locate the offending driver in Echternach. The officers observed that the driver showed clear signs of alcohol consumption and administered an alcohol test, which returned a positive result. The driver’s licence was subsequently confiscated.
