The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Thursday 2 October 2025, a man was arrested following a burglary in a block of flats in Schifflange.
According to the initial report, on Thursday afternoon, a man gained access to an apartment building in Schifflange and entered several apartments before being confronted by a resident. The man fled the scene but was located by the police shortly after. Forensic officers from the criminal investigation department secured evidence at the scene.
After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, the man was taken into custody and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Friday 3 October and a detention order was issued.
