The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Sunday 5 October 2025, a car crashed on the A6 motorway, causing severe damage to the vehicle.
According to the initial report, at approximately 05:00 on Sunday, a caller reported a crashed car on the A6 motorway, near Capellen.
Upon arrival, the police found a severely damaged vehicle. The driver was still at the scene and described to officers how the accident had occurred. As the driver showed clear signs of alcohol consumption, a preliminary breath test was carried out which returned a positive result.
The driver was issued with a provisional driving ban and their driving licence immediately was confiscated.
A report was filed by the police.
