The Grand Ducal Police have reported that during the early hours of Monday 23 September 2025, a hit-and-run traffic incident occurred at the junction of Route d’Arlon and Rue de Koerich in Steinfort.
According to initial information, the driver involved in the collision continued driving along Route d’Arlon in the direction of Belgium. The vehicle briefly stopped in the car park on Rue de l’Hôpital before driving off again without attending to the damage caused. A tree was damaged as a result of the accident.
Police believe the vehicle in question to be a blue metallic Skoda, either the Scala or Kamiq model.
The police have appealed to the driver involved in the accident and any witnesses who may have relevant information to contact the Capellen Police Station by tel: 244-30-1000 or by email:police.capellensteinfort@police.etat.lu.
