The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they arrested a suspected shoplifter in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Thursday 16 October 2025.
In the early afternoon, the police were alerted to a shoplifting incident in a store on the Kirchberg plateau. According to initial information, someone had stolen a bottle of perfume. During their investigation, the authorities located the suspect. Further investigations revealed that this was a repeat offence.
The suspected shoplifter was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and brought before the investigating judge the following morning.
