The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a suspected drug dealer was arrested on Sunday 19 October 2025 in Luxembourg City.
According to the initial report, on Sunday evening a police patrol on Rue Joseph Junck in Luxembourg-Gare noticed a man who, upon seeing the officers, hid behind a construction site container. He was subsequently stopped for a check during which he made suspicious swallowing movements. As there was a suspicion that he might have swallowed drugs, he was subjected to a scanner examination, which returned a positive result.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Monday 20 October 2025.
