The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Friday 24 October 2025, between 06:20 and 08:00, they conducted speed checks on the N11 between Méchelshaff and Bech, in the direction of Bech.

During the operation, officers fined five drivers who had exceeded the maximum permitted speed of 90 km/h by more than 20 km/h. Each received on-the-spot fines of €145 and two penalty points. In twelve additional cases, drivers exceeded the limit by up to 20 km/h and were fined €49.

In addition, a fine was issued in relation to modifications made to a vehicle which had not been properly registered against the vehicle’s certificate of conformity, resulting in a €145 fine and two penalty points. Four drivers were also fined for faults with their vehicle lighting, and two others for irregularities with their vehicle documents.

The Grand Ducal Police reported that a total of 27 officers from various police units took part in the operation.
