The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Wednesday 5 November 2025, at approximately 18:00, they were informed of an accident on the A1 motorway in the direction of Luxembourg-Gasperich.
According to the initial information, a 27-year-old man who was on foot on the motorway near the Senningerberg slip road was struck by a car and died at the scene from his injuries.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office instructed the forensic team of the criminal investigation department to determine the cause of the accident and ordered an autopsy.
The motorway was closed until the accident site had been cleared.
