The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested on Wednesday 5 November 2025, following a theft from a vehicle in Luxembourg-Weimerskirch.
According to initial information, on Wednesday morning a theft from a vehicle was reported in Rue Kalchesbruck in Luxembourg-Weimerskirch, where the suspect had gained access to the interior of the vehicle by smashing a window and had stolen a rucksack.
A police patrol immediately attended the scene and located a second vehicle which had also been damaged.
The suspect was identified by police a short time later and on the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Thursday 6 November 2025.
