On Friday 7 November 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported that three men were arrested following a burglary at a house in Eschdorf.
According to the initial information, on Friday 7 November, shortly before 05:00, a burglary was reported at a house on Am Klatzberg in Eschdorf. Three perpetrators are said to have gained access to the interior of the house.
A police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene and was able to apprehend two suspects. A search operation was launched for the third suspect, involving several police units, and he was eventually located and arrested.
The three individuals are also suspected of having attempted a burglary earlier the same night at a house in Heiderscheid. According to the police, in that instance the perpetrators were disturbed and fled the scene.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Diekirch, the suspected burglars were arrested and brought before an investigating judge.
