The Grand Ducal Police have reported that in the early hours of Saturday 8 November 2025, a man was shot in Rodange and taken to hospital.
According to the initial report, on Saturday, at around 02:15, the police received a report stating that a person had been shot in Rue Joseph Philippart in Rodange. Emergency services were immediately dispatched and upon arrival they found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
According to initial findings, the victim had been near a bar when he was struck by two shots. The perpetrator then fled the scene.
The man was taken to hospital for medical treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.
The police have confirmed that investigations have been initiated and, as part of these, the exact course of events and whether there is any relationship between the perpetrator and the victim will need to be clarified.
