The Grand Ducal Police have reported several incidents involving bodily harm and thefts from vehicles that occurred in Luxembourg on Sunday 16 and Monday 17 November 2025.

On Sunday evening, police were alerted to an incident near a bar in Differdange, where a man reportedly injured another man in the leg with a knife. Officers arriving at the scene located both individuals, and the victim received medical assistance from emergency services. The knife was seized and a police report drawn up. The suspect, who was found to be heavily intoxicated and considered a danger to himself and others, was taken into custody following a medical examination.

In the same period, the police received several reports of thefts or attempted thefts from vehicles. On Sunday evening, a break-in was reported in a car park in Luxembourg-Grund. According to initial information, unknown perpetrators smashed a window to gain access to the vehicle and searched its interior. An investigation has been launched.

In the early hours of Monday, at around 03:20, an attempted theft from a vehicle was reported in Rue Elsy Jacobs in Garnich. A police patrol was dispatched to the scene and subsequently located the suspect. A report was drawn up.
