The Grand Ducal Police have reported several arrests in connection with attempted burglary, drug dealing and theft on Tuesday 25 November 2025.

On Tuesday morning, police responded to an attempted burglary at a single-family home on Rue de Mersch in Angelsberg area (Mersch). According to initial information, three suspects were surprised by a resident and fled. A large-scale search involving multiple police units led to the arrest of two of the alleged perpetrators, while the third escaped. Further investigations indicated possible links to additional burglaries in Lintgen, Rollingen, Gosseldingen and Mersch. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the two suspects were detained and brought before an investigating judge.

That same afternoon, a police patrol on Place de la Gare in Luxembourg’s railway station district observed a suspected handover between several men, believed to involve drugs. Three individuals were stopped immediately. According to initial information, officers found hashish on the suspected buyer and seized hashish, a mobile phone and cash from the alleged dealer. The suspected dealer was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office and later brought before an investigating judge.

On Tuesday evening, a theft was reported at a premises in Luxembourg-Gare after a tablet had been stolen. Police located two suspects shortly afterwards and recovered the stolen item. During the investigation, one of the individuals was linked to a further theft. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning Wednesday 26 November 2025.
