The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two drink-drivers were issued driving bans during the night of Thursday 27 November 2025, in Moutfort and near Munsbach.
According to the police, at approximately 23:00 on Thursday a police patrol noticed a vehicle on the A1 near the Munsbach exit that was parked on the hard shoulder with its lights off. The officers approached the vehicle and found that the driver was asleep behind the wheel. The police administered an alcohol test, which returned a positive result. A provisional driving ban was issued.
A short time later the police were notified of a vehicle in Moutfort that was being driven erratically. Officers located the driver shortly afterwards. An alcohol test was performed, returning a positive result. The officers issued a provisional driving ban.
