The Grand Ducal Police have reported two arrests on Sunday 7 December 2025 in connection with separate incidents in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie and Esch-sur-Alzette.

On the morning, the police received a report of a burglary at a single-family house on Rue Pierre Brandenbourger in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. According to initial information, the suspect allegedly entered the property by smashing a window and ransacking the interior. A patrol attended the scene and located the suspect in the garage. Police reported that cash was found and seized during a body search. At the instruction of the public prosecutor’s office, the man was arrested and brought before an investigating judge.

On Sunday evening, at around 18:40, police in Esch-sur-Alzette received a report that a man had gone to his partner’s residence despite a removal order being in place. A patrol located the suspect on site. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Monday 8 December 2025.
