The Grand Ducal Police have reported several new cases of burglaries and attempted burglaries across Luxembourg in recent days.
On the evening of Monday 8 December 2025, a burglary occurred in a flat in an apartment building on Rue de Vianden in Luxembourg-Hollerich. According to initial information, unknown perpetrators gained entry through a window and ransacked all the rooms.
That same evening, an attempted burglary was reported at a detached house on Boulevard Robert Schuman in Olm. Initial reports indicate that three unknown perpetrators gained entry through a door but fled after being surprised by a resident.
On the evening of Tuesday 9 December 2025, a burglary occurred at a detached house on Rue des Fraises in Mullendorf. According to initial reports, two unidentified perpetrators gained entry through a window but fled when a resident returned home.
Also on Tuesday evening, an attempted burglary was reported at a detached house on Rue Jean-Pierre Molitor in Altwies. Initial reports indicate that four perpetrators attempted to gain entry. A subsequent search was unsuccessful.
Investigations have been launched in all cases.
