The Grand Ducal Police have reported several arrests on Wednesday 11 December 2025 in connection with separate burglary cases in Esch-sur-Alzette, Schifflange and Noertzange.
In the early hours of Wednesday 11 December 2025, at around 03:45, police received a report of a burglary at a shop in Esch-sur-Alzette. According to initial information, the suspect allegedly forced open a door to gain entry and stole a safe. A search operation was immediately launched, during which the suspect was located and apprehended. Police reported that cash, among other items, was seized during a body search. Further investigations linked the suspect to another burglary at a shop in Schifflange. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on Wednesday afternoon.
Later the same day, a burglary at a single-family house in the Cité Beaulieu in Noertzange was reported. According to the police, two suspects allegedly gained entry by smashing a window. A patrol arrived shortly after and located the alleged perpetrators inside the property. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, both individuals were arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Thursday 12 December 2025.
